Specification for TRUST & TRUST Feed Applications
TRUST Interface data is often available in several forms. The most commonly used is the TRUST computers for human access to the data. Other forms include varies types of TRUST data feeds. The feeds are streams of data sent to the recipient computer at regular intervals.
Data feeds are brief messages that use tiplock codes to identify locations and provide delay / status information based on the time that the train passed the last berth.
The data feeds can be received via modems or an IP network. Data is used to provide delay information which is often more accurate than TD data for assessing delays.
